Loki telling Mobius that he’s a variant and of COURSE Mobius doesn’t believe it. So they argue.
“Mobius, please believe me. I’m not lying.”
“I know. But you’re wrong.”

“And you believe her? Come on, Loki, listen to yourself. She’s you. You lie.”
And Loki is just so frustrated because “what, you don’t think I’d remember being someone? I don’t have any memories because I’m not a variant” and it finally all clicks. Loki grabs Mobius by the face (and again we see the ‘oh my god is he gunna kiss me’ that we saw on his face in the tie scene) and tries to enchant him. And it works. Loki digs deep and pulls up a memory, and just like Sylvie implanting herself in that Hunter’s memory, Loki implants himself in Mobius’. And it’s them jetskiing.
And for a moment Loki does nothing. Because wow this is real. The spray of water on his skin, the wind in his hair, the warm body in his arms. And WOW Mobius is firm and warm and muscled and tanned and blonde and about twenty years younger. And Loki holds him and takes it all in and finally leans in to whisper “this is real” and we see Mobius’ face go from content to confusion to mild panic and he reaches down to squeeze one of the arms wrapped around his waist. “Loki?”
And they’re snapped out of the memory and it’s still just Loki holding Mobius’ face, except now there’s tears in his eyes. And he just whispers “it’s real”
